Amanda Lippert earned a B.A. in History with a minor in Psychology from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and a Master's Degree in Education with a concentration in Special Education from Western Connecticut State University. Amanda has been a 7th grade Social Studies teacher at a middle school in New York for 8 years. She has also coached track and softball. Being a teacher, allows her to visit many stadiums throughout the summer.

Back in January 2008, Amanda began exchanging e-mails with someone she met online through Yahoo Personals. After a few e-mails, she found out that she was talking to Brian Merzbach (of www.ballparkreviews.com). Not only was it a coincidence that Brian also had a stadium website, but that Amanda had been using Brian's site to help her decide which stadiums to visit.......and that Brian only lived about a half hour away. Neither Amanda nor Brian had mentioned in their profile their love of baseball stadiums. Talk about a coincidence.

On February 14th 2009, Brian proposed to Amanda in Cooperstown, NY after a day at the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Despite the fact that Brian is a Red Sox fan and Amanda is a Yankee fan, she still said "yes". Amanda & Brian will be getting married on July 10, 2010 and are planning a baseball themed reception (see "Save the Date" card below).

And for anyone who is curious, we will still be maintaining our separate websites.

Below is a picture of our "Save the Date" cards, a Topps Card:
