Parking:

  • Free Parking
  • The ballpark is located in Telfer Park. Fans can park in the Telfer Park lot.

Food:

  • Cheap concessions
  • Unfortunately, Pohlman Field gets the award for having the worst soft pretzel that I have had at a ballpark. It tasted like it was microwaved. It was rubbery and had no flavor. Blaaaaah.

Atmosphere/Character:

If you are looking for a traditional ballpark experience, watch a game at Pohlman Field. The focus is on baseball, rather than crazy promotions and contests. The music that is played throughout the game are oldies tunes rather than loud hip-hop or rap music.

Before the game, you'll see players roaming the concourse area since their clubhouses are located right off the concourse. Perfect for autograph seekers.

Two unique components of the game experience were the "Hog Call" contest in between innings (can't say I have seen that anywhere else!) and the singing of "Roll out the Barrel" during the 7th inning stretch (also a tradition at Miller Park in Milwaukee).

"Snappy", the team's mascot was very active throughout the game. He was a pretty good dancer too!

Stadium Design/Seating:

  • covered grandstand
  • box seats which were level with the field
  • bleachers (general admision)
  • gift shop

Recognition of Team's History and/or MLB Affiliate:

  • Several banners honoring former players
  • "From Beloit to the Majors" plaque
  • Championship banners displayed on clubhouse
