The age and simplicity of this park contributes to giving it some character. There is nothing fancy here, just a good place to watch baseball. The focus at this park is baseball rather than on contests, theme nights, etc.
The PA system could use improving. It sounded muffled.
The Suns do have a mascot who wanders around the park. His name is 'Woolie" and he is an orange creature.
Unfortunately, since Municipal Stadium doesn't contain all the "bells and whistles" that many Minor League parks have, I fear for it's future. So, make sure if's a park you get to soon. It's atmosphere is laid back and is definitely worth a visit.
