Atmosphere/Character:
The age and simplicity of this park contributes to giving it some character. There is nothing fancy here, just a good place to watch baseball. The focus at this park is on baseball rather than on contests, theme nights, etc.
The PA system could use some improving. It sounded muffled.
The Suns do have a mascot who wanders around the park. His name is "Woolie" and he is an orange creature.
Unfortunately, since Municipal Stadium doesn't contain all the "bells and whistles" that many Minor League parks have, I fear for it's future. So, make sure it's a park you get to soon. It's atmosphere is laid back and it is definitely worth a visit.
Stadium Design/Seating:
Stadium underwent two major renovations (1981 and 1995).
